I so often receive more than I give when I am involved with the L'Arche community. Through my involvement with L'Arche, I have become more accepting of my own disability and limitations. Being different is not the focus, but rather what is common for all of us. We all are human with a great capacity for love.”

“The atmosphere of caring for one another in community is something one has to experience to absorb. Every time I return for a function with L’Arche Wavecrest, I am greeted with open arms, smiles, laughter and love. It is so easy in our world to close one's self off, but there are so few barriers amongst the Core Members that love flows quite freely. My wife and I enjoy the sense of community and belonging that comes from the Core Members and L’Arche Wavecrest.”
